PHILADELPHIA – February 8, 2022 – HealthShare Exchange (HSX), an industry leader in data sharing to support care management, quality improvement and population health for the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware healthcare communities, today announced that Bob Kolodgy and Ted Dallas have joined the HSX Board of Trustees. Kolodgy and Dallas join the governance team that coordinates and oversees the direction of HSX’s programs and platform.
“In 2022, HSX is beginning the execution phase of our new strategic direction with the goal of providing new value to our existing membership and it is critical that our leadership team include the communities that we want to reach,” said Martin Lupinetti, President and Chief Executive Officer at HealthShare Exchange. “Bob and Ted’s extensive healthcare executive leadership experience, as well as state leadership roles, will be an incredible asset to HSX as we look to scale and grow our value proposition.”
Kolodgy is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AmeriHealth Caritas. In this role, he oversees the company’s financial functions, mergers and acquisitions, sourcing and facilities. He also plays an integral role in new business development, and strategic planning. Prior to AmeriHealth Caritas, Kolodgy served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in Chicago, where he was responsible for the association’s finances, information technology, information security, brand, venture funds and the 5.5-million member Federal Employee Program. He has also served on the Boards of health data analytics and financial services companies.
Dallas serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at Merakey, a leading developmental, behavioral health and education non-profit provider offering a breadth of integrated services to individuals and communities across the country. Before joining Merakey, Dallas served as the Secretary of the Department of Human Services in Pennsylvania and as a senior advisor to Governor Tom Wolf. During his tenure, Secretary Dallas implemented significant reforms to help vulnerable populations including a full Medicaid expansion that provided healthcare to approximately 715,000 Pennsylvanians who were previously uninsured. He also served as the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Human Resources and led the Department to set state records for moving individuals from welfare to work, for collecting the highest amounts of child support in the state’s history and serving children in the foster care system in a family setting.
“The Philadelphia region is fortunate to have a diverse collection of healthcare organizations collaborating across our community, and it is critical that we can securely share patient information for effective and efficient care coordination. HSX provides this connectivity and closes gaps in patient care,” said Neil G. Lubarsky, CPA (Retired), Chair and Treasurer of the HSX Board of Trustees. “The HSX Board of Trustees is committed to providing oversight, guidance and feedback as the company moves forward with its new strategic direction – and we welcome the insight that Bob and Ted bring to this community and the HSX team.”
