at Holy Redeemer Hospital & Medical Center, served on a panel at the 7th Annual Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Informatics Symposium presented by the Center for Biomedical Informatics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) organized by AMIA (the American Medical Informatics Association).

Moderating the panel was Michael Padula, MD, Medical Director of Informatics, Division of Neonatology, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, who serves as a member of HSX’s Technical Standards Committee.

With the theme “Health Informatics Innovation and Big Data” the symposium reviewed new and innovative approaches to both clinical and translational informatics.  Presenters on the panel “Health Information Exchange 2014: Connecting via Regional, State & National Efforts” were:
