As a Project Manager on the Engagement and Adoption team at HealthShare Exchange, Meg Getzfread is primarily responsible for supporting engagement and adoption efforts with clinical stakeholders within member and participant organizations. Meg will also assist with recruitment efforts, as HSX continues to grow across the region, and she will help to implement HSX services for these entities.
Prior to joining HSX, Meg was the Administrative Assistant at the TALK Institute and School, a private center in Delaware County, Pa., dedicated to educating children with autism and speech/language disorders. Along with standard administrative tasks, Meg had many additional duties at TALK, including tuition and client invoicing, computer operations, and fundraising. Meg was responsible for ensuring all current and prospective staff, interns, and volunteers held all the clearances and trainings per the state requirements. Meg hosted the 5K Trail Run and one-mile family walk, a major fundraiser for the school since 2014.
Prior to her role at TALK, Meg worked as a patient service representative at Plymouth Meeting Family Medicine, a general practice/primary care office that is part of the Einstein Healthcare Network. Meg worked with the clinical and administrative staff in the practice’s transition to an electronic health record. Meg was certified as a Professional Coder in 2013.
She received her bachelor of arts from the Pennsylvania State University.
