HSX offers traditional health information exchange (HIE) services, and its data repository and network support HSX’s population health/data visualization services and the HSX MarketStreet health innovation platform.  HSX links the individual health data of more than 8 million patients from the records of different healthcare organizations, including more than 14,000 providers; as well as health plans; accountable care organizations; post-acute care facilities; federally qualified health centers; and many more entities (300+) to ensure health information is more accessible at inpatient and outpatient points of care and for care management.

Prior to HSX, Marty was the Principal and Public Sector Lead for Health IT for North Highland Consulting, managing large programs as part of the Governor’s Office for the State of New Jersey.  He was also the North Highland Consulting Public Sector Practice Lead for the Mid-Atlantic.  Earlier, at Deloitte Consulting, Marty managed a national public sector outsourcing shared-service center for more than 400 client users.  He was also part of PricewaterhouseCoopers National Project Management Center of Excellence, and a department manager at CSC Consulting Group, where he led a team that developed and deployed numerous mission-critical air traffic control software solutions.

Marty has presented both locally and nationally on health data sharing and on innovation around healthcare information.  Recently, this has included presentations to the Delaware Valley chapter of HIMSS (the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) and at the HIMSS annual national conference, the largest annual worldwide meeting for health information technology.  He has also presented at meetings of the Healthcare InformaticsPhiladelphia Health IT Summit; the Philadelphia Health Information Technology (PHIT) Circle; the AI Innovations for Life Science and Health Care Summit; the Population Health Colloquium; and many other events.
