Member Services Analyst
Position Summary
The Member Services Analyst is responsible for, managing, and implementing projects and services across all HSX business lines. This role works collaboratively across the Member Services, and Technical Operations teams to support member engagement, onboarding, data integration, and implementation of HSX services. The position requires project management, client relationship management, and healthcare data integration experience to support the successful adoption and expansion of HSX services across the healthcare community.
This position will be classified as full-time remote, but candidates in the greater Philadelphia area who know the local healthcare and/or social services landscape and can be on-site for occasional meetings will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead projects supporting HSX strategic initiatives, including multi-year programs and deployment of HSX services across member organizations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage scope changes through defined change control processes and evaluate impacts to cost, schedule, and quality.
- Identify risks and issues and work with leadership and stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and internal teams.
Member Engagement & Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HSX member organizations across the healthcare continuum including health systems, payers, physician practices, long-term care organizations, and community providers.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new healthcare organizations into HSX membership.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned member accounts, supporting service adoption and ongoing engagement.
- Facilitate regular meetings with member organizations to review project status, service utilization, and expansion opportunities.
- Promote awareness and adoption of HSX services through educational sessions, outreach initiatives, and presentations to healthcare organizations and community groups.
- Manage member engagement activities and account tracking through Salesforce.
Implementation & Data Integration
- Support implementation and onboarding of HSX services for participating organizations to promote health information exchange adoption.
- Coordinate implementation of healthcare data feeds including HL7 and other interoperability standards.
- Work with healthcare organizations to support compliance with state and federal data-sharing requirements.
- Support post-implementation activities including service expansion, migrations, and technical support.
- Conduct quality assurance on HSX data and collaborate with data providers to improve data quality and consistency.
- Maintain and update technical specifications, testing documentation, and onboarding materials.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze service utilization and operational data to identify opportunities to improve adoption, performance, and value for members.
- Maintain and enhance HSX engagement and adoption resources, including toolkits and documentation.
- Recommend process improvements, technology enhancements, and operational strategies that support HSX’s mission and strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business, or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience managing projects, client relationships, or healthcare data integration initiatives.
- Experience in healthcare information technology, health information exchange, or clinical data systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and code sets including HL7, XML, ICD-10, LOINC, and SNOMED.
- Experience working with EHR/EMR systems and clinical workflows.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Senior Data Analyst
Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst at HealthShare Exchange (HSX), under the direction of the Director, Value Based Care and Data Analytics, provides data analytics expertise to drive the aggregation of HSX data.
This position will be classified as full-time remote, but candidates in the greater Philadelphia area who know the local healthcare and/or social services landscape and can be on-site for occasional meetings will be preferred.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine extraction, analysis and interpretation of data.
- Analyze data to identify key issues and synthesize it into reports, recommendations, and presentations.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to perform analyses in order to identify trends and functionality that benefit HSX stakeholders across the regional healthcare community.
- Support a data quality improvement program for HSX members, including data quality criteria/rules and production of data quality report cards to be communicated to members.
- Work with internal staff and members to proactively identify and resolve data collection/management issues. Improve data quality over time and measure improvement.
- Conduct checks on data files for completeness and run data quality assurance programs.
- Assess complex problems to improvement and enhance programs and activities; recommend and assist in implementation of problem resolution strategies and actions.
- Analyze information, discern relevant and critical points that impact the HSX and the regional stakeholders.
- Develop operational needs, operating plans, develop logistical and operational support needs.
- Advise ongoing strategic data sharing opportunities including engagement with federal, state and local agencies.
- Work across member organizations to garner support, exchange information, facilitate recommendations, synthesize information, and develop policy/position papers.
- Provide recommendations for policies and processes as requested, related to areas of responsibility.
Administrative:
- Collaborate with and provide the team with metrics and data reporting as needed.
- Conduct data related queries using SQL and other programs as requested.
- Create reports using data visualization techniques in Tableau to synthesize raw and complex data into an easily approachable format including dashboards, spreadsheets and worksheets.
- Maintain contact with membership and vendors as needed to support data quality initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a data analyst within the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) services and Health Information Technology (HIT) and networking.
- Strong SQL query skills.
- Experience and comfort using data aggregation and visualization techniques including Tableau and PowerBI.
- Ability to review and synthesize information and data into recommendations, presentations, and key issues.
- Experience with HL7 data feeds and healthcare terminology and controlled vocabularies (e.g., ICD-10, LOINC, SNOMED).
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Additional/Preferred
- Master’s degree in statistics, epidemiology, health information technology, public health, or related field.
- Experience with Snowflake, R, SAS, Python, and Jira.
- Experience with clinical research data analysis.
