Lupinetti Introduces More Business Leaders to HSX

More than 75 attentive and appreciate executives engaged with questions and interest in this HSX update, entitled “How the Philadelphia Region’s Data Collaborative is Expediting Healthcare Improvement.”  They learned about current health system and health plan engagement with HSX and coming opportunities afforded by the HSX Market Street initiative, an innovation opportunity for entrepreneurs, providers, and consumers that will drive application development, research, care monitoring, and more.

Marty was able to confer with leaders of large self-insured employers, who had a special focus on HSX’s role in improving population health efforts.  The event continued discussion of the prospect of business membership in, and direct use of, HSX services.

Established in 2012, the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health (GPBCH) is a membership organization open to any employer that is corporately based or that has a significantly employed population in the Delaware Valley.  The coalition represents the employer community in working with health plans, health care providers, and other system stakeholders to improve the value of health benefit spending for members, by improving healthcare quality and safety and reducing healthcare costs.
